Your background in graphic design, painting and photography has undoubtedly influenced your work. Can you elaborate on how your previous experiences have shaped your artistic vision?

I think every step a person and an artist does are part of the total shape at the end he develops. Graphic designing is about technical skills, painting is totally about creativity and photography teacher me to take care of every single detail.

You have worked with a number of high-profile clients such as Christian Dior and Louis Vuitton. What is it like to work with such prominent names in the industry, and how do you maintain your artistic integrity while catering to their demands?

Basically, a big company already knows the class of art works I can develop for them. In the mean time, there is a previous discussion to understand anyways their needs and meet them.

You mentioned that you draw inspiration from nature, minerals and fossils. Can you describe the process of translating those natural elements into your artistic surfaces?

I use them, literally. I spend part of my time collect, searching, touching those materials. In fact my new collection ‘OnlyOne’ is made by salt, rocks, sand, sea sponges everything collected in our beloved Island: Ibiza.

You have described yourself as an “artdesigner.” Can you explain what that term means to you, and how it sets you apart from other artists or designers?

I see myself as a “mix and match” of art, design and decorative arts. Not being a part from other artists, but I can be positioned in all of these segments.

You are currently working on a new project called ONLY ONE. Can you give us a sneak peek into what we can expect from this collection of unique furniture pieces?

Ibiza inspired me this collection: island elements are part of those art works. I often lose myself in landscapes, sunsets, walking around in the Island.

Have you ever considered pursuing a different career path, and if so, what would it be?

No, never.

How do you see the future of interior design evolving, and what role do you see your artistic surfaces playing in that evolution?

I think those two worlds are already co-existing in last 15-20 years. Needs and the pursuit of beauty are two sides of the same coin.

Can you tell us about a particular moment in your career that you found to be the most challenging? How did you overcome it?

I prefer be focused on positive moments, reminding just humility is the key in life, always.

Where do you see yourself in 30 years? Do you have any long-term projects or goals for your artistic career?

Well, at the moment I’m opening my Ibiza art gallery, and planning my wedding with my beautiful partner Anna. So my projection is with a huge family and more art gallery all around the world, Miami, Los Angeles, Milano the next very soon!

What advice do you have for young artists and designers who want to pursue a career similar to yours?

Perseverance, passion and humility. Just those 3 words.
